We sent Antonia and Sara to Poland for the Erasmus+ youth exchange “Enviro Wise” in July 2022.
This is their testimony!
Yesterday I returned to Italy after spending 10 intense days in Poland for an Erasmus+ youth exchange project. First of all I want to thank Simone and the Kora association for this wonderful opportunity I was given, you made me discover Erasmus+ projects and I can say that the experience I had exceeded all my expectations and I couldn’t have wished for better!
It was my first Erasmus+ project and I was very curious to find out what it was like. The project enriched my life in many ways: we dedicated ourselves to activities concerning environmental protection, we learnt how to make our contribution in society to make the world a better place to live in and above all I had the opportunity to meet young people from different countries of the world and enrich my cultural background. It was an intense experience that I will remember for the rest of my life and I look forward to participating in more projects like this.
Thank you very much to Kora for your contribution, for your availability and above all for letting me discover this fantastic new world.
After participating in the “Enviro Wise” project in Poland, I realized that every little action contributes to making the world a better place to live. I discovered many things that I did not know, I learned to love nature even more and above all to protect it. So as soon as I returned to Italy I tried to put into practice some of the things I was taught during the project. For example, I learned that it is important to recycle and therefore I created new objects and toys using old plastic bottles and used paper or I planted plants and flowers in my house. This experience helped me a lot because I was able to spread awareness also in my country and especially among children and my peers. All together with a little commitment we can change the world.
I am very grateful for the opportunity to have taken part in this project in Poland in the summer of 2022. I discovered new ways of respecting and preserving the environment, got to know some terrific people from 5 other countries, adapted to life in the community and managed to get further and further out of my comfort zone.
Thank you so much, and thank you to the Kora association for having accompanied me and prepared me so willingly, despite the difficult organisation of the trip.
