BREAD!

INTRODUCTION

INGREDIENTS

  • Flour 500 gr
  • Water (room temperature) 300 ml
  • Sourdough (“Mother Yeast”) 35 gr
  • Sugar 10 gr
  • Salt 15 gr

STEPS

  • Mix the flour with the salt and sugar
  • Add the sourdough (“mother yeast”) and knead it with the water until the dough is smooth and homogeneous.
  • Let the dough rise for about two hours or until doubled in volume in a warm place, covered with a damp cloth
  • Take the dough again, create the desired shapes, place them on the baking sheet.
  • Let them rise for another 30/40 minutes in a warm place, always covered by a damp cloth.
  • Bake at 200°C and cook for about 20/30 minutes. The baking time depends on the size of the shapes created. During cooking it is advisable to put a pot of water in the oven.
