GNOCCHI WITH GORGONZOLA SAUCE

- Unusual/Specific tools required: Immersion blender
INGREDIENTS
- 2kg of homemade or store-bought gnocchi
- Sage
- 125g of butter
- 250ml of milk
- 400ml cooking cream
- 250g gorgonzola
- White wine
- Salt
- Pepper
- Nutmeg
- Chilli powder
STEPS
- Put the butter and sage leaves in a pan and cook a bit
- Add some white wine (let it evaporate on high fire) and put the milk
- Add the cooking cream and the gorgonzola
- Season with salt and a bit of pepper, nutmeg and chili powder
- Put the sauce in the immersion blender and blend to remove possible clumps
- Cook the gnocchi in salty boiling water for 2-3 min until they come up to the surface of the pot
- Mix with sauce and serve
