POTATO OVEN PIE

INTRODUCTION

INGREDIENTS

  • 1kg potatoes
  • 3 onions
  • 500ml soy cream
  • 4 drops of truffle oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Nutmeg

STEPS

  • Cook the potatoes with the skin in boiling water until soft
  • Peel them and cut them in slices
  • Cut the onions, fry them in a pan with some margarine and olive oil
  • Add soy cream too, cook for a few minutes and leave aside
  • In an oven scale, start making a first layer of potato slices, put some salt and add half of the onion-soy cream mix
  • Make a second layer of potatoes, add a bit of salt again and put the rest of the pan mix
  • You can choose to add a bit of black pepper, nutmeg and 4 drops truffle oil too to give it some extra taste
  • Put the scale in the oven for about 20-25 min (remember to put on grill setting for the last 5 min)
