SPINACH FRITTATA

INTRODUCTION

Frittata is an egg-based Italian dish similar to an omelette or crustless quiche or scrambled eggs, enriched with additional ingredients such as meats, cheeses or vegetables. The word frittata is Italian and roughly translates to “fried.”

  • Type of Meal: Second dish-vegetarian

INGREDIENTS

  • 20 eggs
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • Margarine, olive oil
  • 1 kg of frozen or fresh spinach 1 KG
  • Oregano

STEPS

  • Put garlic in a pan to fry with margarine and olive oil;
  • Add the spinach and let cook a bit;
  • In the meantime, beat the eggs and put salt and pepper;
  • Once the spinach are cooked, add the eggs into the pan, with some oregano;
  • Let it cook for about 10 min (flip after 5 min.).
  • Enjoy!
