A PLACE WHERE YOU CAN FEEL FREE TO EXPRESS YOURSELF
I’m Giulia Sargenti from Appennino Tosco Emiliano, I’m 29 years old and discovering world lover. I’m an ice skating teacher and my plan after the winter working season was to reach Greece, where I was living, last year, for a while in a permaculture/eco-community. Then, because of COVID, I choose a plan B and I applied for Hands for Vols in La Buona Terra. As people say “some times the wrong train brings you in the correct station”.
Was much more than my expectations. Actually maybe I didn’t have so many expectations I was just very glad about the end of lockdown. What I found was a big gift.
I learnt a lot of practical skills in gardening, farming, water system, shooting and videomaking. Even more, I met beautiful souls, and each of them taught me something different that is now part of me, forever like a precious treasure. La Buona Terra is an amazing place. I’m very grateful for its existence and for having found it (or maybe it found me ). It is a safe place where you can feel free to express yourself, to create, to be surrounded by love and care. A place where you can trust in yourself because people are trusting you and you trust others.
Now I’m going to Greece but I will be back soon and often to la Buona Terra. Is for me very important to know that they are there.
