EUROPEAN SOLIDARITY CORPS WITH KORA 2022-1

We wrapped up our European Solidarity Corps project presented in the first round of 2022, and we’re happy to share its results!

The project has been coordinated by Associazione Kora and funded by the European Commission through the Italian National Youth Agency, thanks to the European Solidarity Corps programme. It involved 40 volunteers and 12 partner organisations for 8 different activities that took place in Italy and Portugal.

The main objectives of the project were to maintain, strengthen and expand Kora’s European and local networks, encourage the participation of local youth in international projects, democratic processes and active citizenship (especially young people from rural areas), and develop key skills for the future about social and/or environmental sustainability, civic and intercultural skills, communication (social media, photos, videos).

The project also gave voice to the volunteers themselves, making them protagonists of their own projects and allowing them to communicate to other youngsters what they were actually experiencing, learning, bringing home. This is why we decided to summarise all the different activities of this project in a booklet with the volunteers’ own words and stunning pictures of their activities.
