ESC VOLUNTEERING IN AUDIOVISUAL CREATION IN ITALY

CRHACKLAB FOLIGNO 4D is currently looking for two ESC volunteer to help them with audiovisual cultural content creation.

Who: 2 volunteers aged 18-30 from EU countries or Ukraine
When: for 9 months starting in September 2024 (dates and duration can be slightly flexible)
Where: Foligno, Italy
Hosting Organisation: CRHACKLAB FOLIGNO 4D

Activities:

• Production of photos and videos on tangible and intangible cultural heritage of Foligno and Umbria, in order to set up a media library to support digital projects
• Processing of photos and videos from the media library to produce content for specific projects
• Social and promotional campaigns
• Events organisation: C.R.E.A. Culture 2025 event (March 2025) and other secondary events.

Support:

Food and accommodation will be covered by the European Commission; volunteers will have health insurance and pocket money (6 € per day). Travel expenses will be refunded up until a fixed amount  (180 € from 100 to 499 km distance, 275 € from 500 km to 1999 km, 360 € if more; budget is higher if the trip doesn’t include flights, in order to encourage environmental sustainability). Volunteers will be accommodated in a flat with other international youngsters and they will share their room with another person of the same gender. The flat is equipped with kitchen, living room, bathroom, wifi, laundry. They can reach the association on foot, or in case of events taking place in other locations, a member of the staff will drive them or buy/reimburse their tickets.

Volunteers will work 35 hours a week with free Saturdays and Sundays. These hours include 1 hour for a meeting with the responsible of the activities, that coaches the volunteers on their tasks, 1 hour for a meeting with the mentor, that evaluates the volunteers’ project, satisfaction and learning process, and the Italian language course, that will take 4 hours a week for the first 2 months.

Criteria:

• 18-30 years old
• Available for the whole duration of the project (from September 2024 for 9 months; dates and duration are slightly flexible)
• Currently living in an EU country or Ukraine
• Good English level (at least B2 or C1)
• Italian language skills will be highly appreciated, otherwise volunteers will be encouraged to learn it during their stay, also thanks to the EU online language course
• Organised, focused, able to work independently as well as in team and in support to others
• Experienced in audiovisual content creation and digital processing. Familiar with social media management and communication
