Kókusz Golyó (Coconut Balls)

Dessert
Any season
Vegan
Serves 20
Needs Mixer

In the Hungarian tradition, people used to make these balls to finish up leftover cakes. They mashed them and made balls out of them.

Even today, these balls are really popular when people have friends over and want to make something easy but tasty, or for Hungarian children, when they’re hungry and parents need to fix something quick.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1kg vegan dry biscuits
  • 100g cocoa
  • 890ml almond milk
  • 85g coconut flour
  • A few drops of rhum essence

STEPS

  • Put the biscuits in the mixer in two or three times until mashed
  • Transfer in a bowl and add the cacao. Mix
  • Slowly add the milk as well and the rum essence
  • Make sure the mix is thick enough (if too liquid, add more biscuits and if too thick, feel free to add more milk)
  • Start making balls and put them in a tray, leave in the fridge for at least 30 min and serve
