Youth exchange on climate change and human rights
Climate rights are social rights. Young people from five countries explored how climate change and environmental policies affect human rights, and what each of us can do.

Climate change is no longer a distant horizon: it touches every part of our lives, including our rights. Workers in the global south, people living in the areas most exposed to its effects, migrants, animals and nature itself are all affected. Green and Fair opened the discussion on these links.
Quello che è successo
- Getting to know each other, team building and a shared agreement on how to live together on the farm.
- Intercultural learning: the “Tribes” adaptation game and national evenings.
- Human rights and climate: “Take a step forward”, a human-rights simulation, “What if?” scenarios, debates on the environment and the Sustainable Development Goals.
- Daily reflection groups and Youthpass sessions to recognise what each person was learning.
Out in the community: the group visited TAMAT, a Perugia association working in international cooperation, and presented the project there. Participants ran workshops on sustainability and human rights at the school of Passignano sul Trasimeno, and joined a public event with the Mayor of Passignano on the value of international activities for the town.
