ABOUT THIS ACTIVITY

Evaluation and cooperation seminar for youth workers

Looking back, planning ahead: youth workers, group leaders and participants from eight countries evaluated the year together and planned the next steps.

Why

After a year of training courses and youth exchanges, Kora invited youth workers, group leaders and participants from the partner organisations to evaluate the experience together, and to plan the next steps of the partnership.

What happened

  • Evaluation of the youth exchanges of 2024: what worked, what did not, and why, using the participants’ questionnaires and the leaders’ own experience.
  • Lessons into practice: improvements for the next exchanges, from preparing the groups to communication between partners.
  • Planning future cooperation: new project ideas and the activities of the following year.
  • Networking between old and new partner organisations.

Results

  • A toolkit for implementing Erasmus+ activities, written from the leaders’ and partners’ experience: the role of group leaders, partnership agreements, dissemination and evaluation.
  • Average overall score: 9.0 out of 10 (19 responses).

“We’ve created a very strong network between the leaders and organisations.” (an Evaluation Seminar participant)

“I found out that I want to become a better leader, more involved, and maybe facilitate when I am ready.” (an Evaluation Seminar participant)
