RED BEAN BROWNIE

INGREDIENTS
- 200 gr cooked red beans (kidney beans), drained
- 200 ml plant-based milk
- 2 tablespoons hazelnut, almond, or peanut butter
- 200 gr dark chocolate
- 100 gr sugar
- 150 gr flour
- pinch of salt
- 100 gr applesauce
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 70 gr crushed nuts (almonds, hazelnuts or walnuts)
STEPS
- Add the kidney beans in a blender with some of the milk and mix them into a paste
- Melt the chocolate with the rest of the milk and the nut butter
- Mix the two bowls, and add the sugar, the applesauce, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Once the mixture is homogeneous, add the crushed almonds, mix, and pour into a large baking dish for 20 minutes at medium heat.
- Serve and enjoy 🙂
Extras:
*If you want your cake to have a lighter texture you can replace 50g of the flour with cornflour.
*Don’t forget to put some toppings of crushed almonds and/or peanut butter on top!
