Digital Youth Work Training Course Test Run by MYNGO

MYNGO is a free digital platform that enables organisations to develop digitally and virtually, simplifying their management and enhancing their interactions. The platform contains a community with member and organisation profiles, activity streams, user groups, as well as a Learning Management System that allows associations to create virtual courses for members and project participants.

MYNGO is part of a project of cooperation partnership in youth funded by the Erasmus Plus programme. The project (2021-1-ES02-KA220-YOU-000028892) aims to respond to the digital development needs of associations and learning processes in non-formal education and it is developed by Asociación Brújula Intercultural (Spain), Associazione Kora (Italy), Dynamic Learning (Estonia) and Regionalne Centrum Wolontariatu (Poland).

The MYNGO platform is now running a test phase for their Digital Youth Work Virtual Training Course! Whether you’re a seasoned youth worker, an educator, or just someone with a passion for the digital realm, this course promises a hands-on exploration of the exciting intersection between digital tools, youth engagement, and the innovative MYNGO platform.

Embark on a journey through the fundamentals of digital youth work in this training course. This isn’t your typical course with long, monotonous lectures. Instead, expect interactive lessons, engaging activities, and collaborative projects that translate theory into practical skills you can use in the real world.

By the end of the course, you’ll:

  1. Get Digital Youth Work: Understand the significance of digital youth work in today’s fast-paced society.
  2. Ace MYNGO: Navigate the MYNGO platform and various digital tools to enhance youth engagement.
  3. Keep It Ethical: Apply ethical considerations and best practices when working with young people in the digital space.
  4. Be a Project Pro: Design and implement engaging digital activities and projects to support youth development.
  5. Know Your Impact: Evaluate the impact of digital youth work initiatives and adapt to changing needs.

Mark your calendars! The course runs from November 27 to December 22, lasting four dynamic weeks. To get the most out of the experience, we suggest dedicating approximately 5 hours per week. This includes one or two hours per week reserved for synchronous activities—live sessions hosted right here on the platform.

Choose your style—hop into live sessions for real-time interaction and discussions or take it easy with readings, quizzes, and forum discussions at your own pace.

The curated collection includes video lectures, presentations, textbooks, case studies, and practical guides. Consider it a treasure trove of inspiration to fuel your own digital youth work initiatives.

To ensure the effectiveness of this virtual training, MYNGO invite you to be part of the test phase. If you’re passionate about exploring the potential of digital youth work, apply now! Share your experiences and knowledge of digital tools—it’s your chance to contribute to the shaping of this innovative course. Selected participants will receive detailed instructions via email.
