Apply to join the group of 36 young people from Italy, Germany, France, Romania, Bulgaria and Spain who will meet in Passignano sul Trasimeno (Italy) to discuss and do activities on sustainable food consumption and traditional cuisine!

Objectives of the project:

  • Provide participants with knowledge about food choices and their impact on the environment
  • Share and increase awareness about national/regional traditions of participating countries
  • Investigate the concept of cultural identity and its connection to food traditions
  • Promote the introduction of environmental sustainability in traditional recipes and meals
  • Provide practical cooking skills to participants
  • Raise awareness on differences and similarities of participating countries’ cultures and traditions
  • Provide young Europeans tools to reduce their impact on the environment through food choices

Activities during the project will involve non-formal education workshops, cooking workshops, debates and much more. All activities will be participatory, do not expect just to sit and watch!

Selection criteria:

  • Age between 18 and 30 years old
  • Age 18+ for group leaders
  • Availability for the entire duration of the project
  • Interest in the topic
  • Curiosity about other cultures
  • Basic level of English


Food and accommodation are covered by the Erasmus+ programme. Travel costs will be reimbursed up to a budget limit based on distances (further details in the infopack)
