The place that houses La Buona Terra was built in 1821 and has functioned as the first educational farm in Italy for the past 30 years. The place hosts various types of educational activities with children, young people and adults of all ages. It produces organic olive oil and essential oils of aromatic herbs such as lavender, sage, rosemary… Since 2015, the Kora Association has been working with La Buona Terra using its natural environment promoting the goals of sustainable living and environmental education. Since then, it hosts educational projects such as youth exchanges and training courses. Kora also hosts volunteers who work mainly in the fields of sustainable agriculture, eco-building, cooking and much more. The farm places great emphasis on self-responsibility and respect for nature. Some basic rules will be given during the stay in order to respect the place, inside and outside, to respect the people living in the surroundings, to respect the animals, to control the environmental impact (water, electricity…) and to create a safe and fun environment throughout the project.
